A series of equipment aimed at briquette production.
The simplest briquetting equipment is comprised solely of the briquette press and a dosing system.
However, for material to be fed into a briquetting press, certain characteristics must first be met:
- Maximum moisture content of 16% (moisture base)
- Fine grain
As such, in cases where waste is not naturally dry and/or fine, besides the briquetting press, the equipment set should encompass a dryer, chopper and/or chipper.
Not to mentioned, obviously, the dosing and conveyor systems for the waste between one piece of equipment and another.
The table below shows examples of waste and the respective equipment necessary for a briquetting plant:
|BRIQUETTING PRESS||BRIQUETTING PRESS AND DRYER||BRIQUETTING PRESS AND CHOPPER||BRIQUETTING PRESS, DRYER AND CHOPPER|
|Dry sawdust||Moist sawdust||Dry wood chips||Moist wood chips|
|Rise husks||Sugarcane bagasse||Dry coconut husks||Elephant grass|
|Coffee husks||Maize waste||Brazil nut husks||Tree trimmings|
|Cotton waste||Soybean waste||Signalgrass||Green coconut husks|
